Sharon Gonzago

    Sharon grew up in Perak, Malaysia in a small village with her 3 sisters, however she is half Hakka and half Portuguese Eurasian. Her unique heritage blend is what she attributes her passion cooking to have stemmed from.

    Her ability to conjure up a meal from food scraps descended from the Hakka migratory society while her creative taste buds comes from her Eurasian heritage, naturally gifted with the talent to blend the best of East and West cuisines.

    She loves trawling markets, and surrounds herself with food, fresh produce and kitchen gadgets. During my travels, she transforms into a food hoarder with ¾ of the luggage filled with food goodies.

    Happiness is seeing the family going for multiple helpings at the dinner table.
